Limited Liability Company (LLC)
An LLC keeps your personal assets separate from the business. It has few formalities, and by default profits pass through to the owners’ personal tax returns. It is the most common choice for freelancers, e-commerce sellers and small businesses, whether you live in the US or abroad.

Registered agent
Every company needs a registered agent with a physical street address in its state to receive legal and tax notices. If you have one, enter it in the form at no charge. If not, we provide one for $50 for the first year. Renewal after that depends on the state.
Non-US owners
You don’t need an SSN or a US visit. We can apply for your EIN ($20) and set up Payoneer and Wise accounts ($20, plus Wise’s own one-time fee). We don’t open US bank accounts for non-residents.

How long does it take?
Most states approve online filings in 1–10 business days. Some states offer same-day, 2-hour or 1-hour service for an extra fee.
Do I need to visit the US?
No. Everything is done online.
What do I need to provide?
Company name, business activity, and each owner’s name, address and country. We ask for ID after payment through a secure link.
Is there a yearly cost?
Most states charge an annual report fee. If you use our registered agent, renewal depends on the state. We remind you before anything is due.
